Five9 - Adapter Interface Settings

User Settings

1.Click Settings

Select General, Audio Devices,  Sound Alerts, or Password, make changes, as desired and then click Save & Close

General Settings

  • Select skills at login: Available if you have permission to access call queues. If you disable this option, you can no longer choose call queues when you log into the adapter. 
  • Show call variables: Available if you have permission to view specific information about transferred and conference calls. For more information about the variables that you may see and how to use them, contact your administrator. 
  • Open Five9 Adapter in a separate browser window: Opens the adapter in a new browser window. With Internet Explorer, the softphone always opens in a separate browser window. This option is not always available. 
  • Application language: If your domain and user role are enabled for multiple languages, you can select the display language for items, such as labels, dispositions, notes, internal chats, and reason codes. 
  • Change my skill selection: Link that opens your skills options so that you may start or stop following queues. 

Audio Device Settings

  • Select Audio Devices
  • Choose from available equipment and Restart Station if changed
  • Use Echo Call to test
  • Click Save and Close

Automatic Answer Settings

Disable settings to allow agents to manually Accept or Reject interactions

Greeting Settings

  • Used to upload personal greeting for Personal Voicemail
  • Can be used for other recordings, as applicable

Sound Alert Settings

Enable sound alerts as desired
