Clarity Connect Admin - Browser Settings
Goal:
Provide instruction on how to manage Browser settings for Clarity Connect
Resolution/Steps:
Add to Trusted sites
- Open Internet Options
- Select Security
- Select Trusted Sites
- Enter the website as http://"domain".ctcontactcenter.com/ and click Add
Configure Automatic log on
- Open Internet Options
- Select the Security Tab
- Click Custom Level near the bottom of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and select the radio button "Automatic logon with current user name and password"
- Click Ok to close Security Settings
- Click Ok to close Internet Options
- Close all Internet Explorer windows
- Launch Internet Explorer and navigate to the Clarity Portal. You will be prompted for a username and password as usual.
- Enter your username in the format DOMAIN\SAMAccountName. This will be similar to 123456_username.
Note: Using your e-mail address to login will not save the credentials. It is important to use the DOMAIN\SAMAccount format.
- Enter your Skype for Business password.
- Make sure to check the box "Remember my credentials"
Note: To verify it worked, close all Internet Explorer windows and relaunch. You should not be prompted for a password.
Note: When the Skype for Business password is changed, these credentials will no longer work. Enter the new password and check Remember My Credentials.
