Switches - Configuring MCS Test Device Server Side
This article will walk users through the process of configuring and MCS device on the server for Various sized companies. These different tests include:
Large Deployment Test link
This tests 100 concurrent lines every 5 minutes
Medium Deployment Test link
This tests 25 concurrent lines every 5 minutes
Small Deployment Test link
This tests 5 concurrent lines every 5 minutes
Keep in mind these are based on the number of concurrent calls and not the number of devices the customer has on site.
Instructions
Login to http://mcs.calltower.com/myspeed/admin from an internal network or from Central Admin
Click into the "Satelites" section on the top bar and Navigate to "View Connected Satelites"
Select the box to the Left of the device you choose to change the Deployment size of and from the Top please choose the correct "RA Task"
After 5 minutes check the reporting tool to make sure you are receiving proper data. Keep in mind that you can verify the test size by checking the "Test Spec" listed when the report is pulled.
